We have a great new challenge over at Wags n Whiskers starting today. This fortnight the theme is April showers or Spring. Nice and easy for this time of year, wouldn't you say? For my DT card, I chose the image "Gemma and Bella's Spring Fun".
I found a great 6 x 6 pad of paper called Color Crush by American Crafts that looks like water colors. I thought it perfect for a few spring cards. I used two of those papers for this card, and mounted them on a yellow card stock base. The image was colored with Copics. The roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The little blue flowers that are raining down are from Cheery Lynn's Embellishments #2 set. The clouds are from Memory Box. The image and sentiment panels were cut from Spellbinders Blossom Three Nestabilities.
Such a cute image I think. Remember, you don't have to use a Wags n Whiskers stamp to enter the challenge. Come join us in some Spring fun with your cards!
