Two posts back to back! I've been busy lol
There's a new challenge over at Through the Craftroom Door that I am so excited to be a GDT for. The theme is always anything goes, which is so awesomely cool! Head on over and check them out and submit your project! This week, they are being sponsored by the fabulous Bugaboo Stamps, one of my favorite digi stores, who is offering SEVEN adorable digis to one lucky random winner!
I decided for my GDT card to make an Easter card for Jordan, my 9 year old daughter. She adores the Ava stamps so I used Ava Easter. Getting this cutie by her was no easy task! I've been seeing so many cute rocker cards and thought she would like the style as well. A quick Google search confirmed how easy I thought they would be to make.
For the base and layered backing panels I used three dies from the Grand Circles set; the papers are by The Paper Studio. The image panel was cut from Grand Ovals. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The foliage includes Olive Branches and a stem from Embellishments #2, both from Cheery Lynn, which were sponged in Peeled Paint distress ink. There is also a French Pastry Tiny Doily tucked behind the flowers which was sponged with Victorian Velvet distress ink. The yellow bulb accents are from a spray I found on clearance at Michael's.
