Happy Thursday to everyone and many thanks to Jennifer for following me!
Yesterday I played around with an anniversary card for my sister-in-law and her husband. They are celebrating their first and I found through Google that gold is the color for a first anniversary. I was wanting to create a card with dimension so I gave it a go.
I started with layers but that didn't seem to do the trick completely so I used the end of a small paint brush to curl the edges of the ovals up. For the sentiment panel I used foam adhesive to pop it up a bit and curled the corners down.
After it was all put together, my sneaky toddler decided to add her touch to it (literally) and left a nice black fingerprint on the sentiment panel. Hopefully nobody will ever get the urge to look under the lace ribbon lol. The edge of the big oval, corners of the sentiment panel and lace ribbon were all sponged with distress ink. The sentiment was heat embossed. And the "image" was die cut from toile printed paper.
Challenges:
Different angle.
Close up.
Thanks so much for looking and have a great day!
