Creative Card Crew challenge #33

Hello everyone!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Easter and getting through the week thus far!

There's a great new challenge over at Creative Card Crew, our theme for challenge #33 is clouds.  This fortnight we are being sponsored by the fabulous Stamp Fairy who is offering a $10 voucher towards their adorable digi stamps.  They have a few cute freebie digis - check them out and grab them up!

It was so hard to choose which one I wanted to use for my DT card, but I finally decided on one of the Mimi and Teddy stamps and matching (free) sentiment.

The image was colored with Copics and the grass, flowers, sky and clouds were added in after the coloring was completed.  The papers I used are by DCWV.  I used the Daisy Strip from Cheery Lynn again as I just LOVE that flower die; so quick and simple to put together and looks so cute!  I paired it with their Mini Fanciful Flourish and baby's breath stem from the Embellishments #2 set.  I didn't use the small flowers that come with the set though, instead I had the bright idea to use the little cut out heart pieces that were leftover from the Spellbinders Heart Circle that I cut out for the sentiment panel.  I added three rhinestones from Recollections that were colored with a Copic to match her dress, a rhinestone swirl that I borrowed from Jordan's stash and some pearl embellished lace that I found at Walmart.  The clouds were cut from Memory Box's Puffy Clouds set and were popped up on foam for dimension.

At first I wasn't too fond of the paper I used to cut out the flower, it didn't seem to be a good paper for coloring with Copics, but when it dried it had a pretty neat tie-dyed effect.

I realized after it was all put together that my flowers are all leaning the same way.  Guess it was a bit windy in the picture LOL

Copics used:
Sky:  B000
Clouds and shading:  C00/1
Skin:  E000/00/11, R20
Hair:  E29/35/39
Dress:  R02/05/08
Bear and shoes:  E53/55/57
Grass:  G02/05/16/17, YG09
